9/11 tributeOn the tenth anniversary of 9/11, our nation mourns the horrific events of that day. Many of us are sorting through our thoughts of that day and we felt. I think we all still remember where we were that day. It’s now ten years later and we have the perspective that comes with time. Many of us have to deal with changes in our daily lives that were the outcome of that tragic day.

Most of us became more aware of the dangers around us. Some of us, knowing that such an event could happen around us at  any time, became preppers. We do not prepare out of fear however, but because we want to deny terrorists like those that caused 9/11 the pleasures of seeing us suffer. Our world is no safer now than it was then.

Times are tough today and the future is uncertain and our nation is loosing it’s freedoms more and more. But on September 11 we need to put our feelings aside and quietly honor those that have died or suffered as a result of September 11, 2001. Regardless of how we feel about our nation and it’s direction, let us make today one of remembrance. God Bless America and its People.
